Over 40 years ago, Mac created his first balm, a simple Calendula Balm made with love and a belief in the power of plants.

Made for his children and their nappy rashes on their farm in Nimbin

This Calendula Balm is in a beeswax & sweet almond oil base.

Calendula officinalis is helpful for fading old scars and can be used in the treatment of skin ulcers and varicose veins too.

Calendula is anti inflammatory, helping the healing of wounds and burns as well as itchiness from insect bites.

    Calendula Balm with Rose Absolute

    I tried some from a friend and found that it worked wonders on a swelling on my foot – there had been an insect bite and I had an open wound. The Balm not only helped the wound to close but any irritation or swelling quickly disappeared. I still use it as the healing process is slow at my age. But I then ordered a couple of bottles for our daughters who are away at university – making sure that that is now a part of their personal first aid treatment.

    I suffer from rosacea, with flushing, redness and visible broken facial capillaries. I am always on the hunt for skincare products to give some relief. I found Black Sheep Farm Oils by chance and I am forever grateful. The calendula balm is moisturising, but does not feel heavy or look oily. It’s fine under make-up. The balm provides day long moisture. My skin is soft and feels smoother. I do notice a reduction in my redness. For someone with rosacea, just to get rid of the roughness and dry patches is fantastic. I use this balm morning and night. It is simply beautiful and nourishing. My sincere thanks.

    This is amazing. My daughter suffers a ‘chemical sensitivity’ to methylisothiazolinone and it’s many other names.
    This cream has been a blessing as it’s cleared all symptoms and repaired her skin – unlike the prescribed steroid cream which only creates more problems.
    We know this is pure and natural as it doesn’t react on her skin.

Shipping, Tracking, Returns

Can I travel with / take the hemp products overseas?

That’s hard for us to say if it’s ok to use overseas, as we are not lawyers, though some people do travel with their hemp products, and we do send them overseas to NZ, USA, UK too.

It would be up to you if you did take it with you, and check if the country (or any you transit through) has any issues with hemp products.

Shipping & postage

Orders before midday (2pm) are sent the same day via Australia Post or Aramex.

We deliver to all Australian addresses, PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers etc.

Delivery time:

  • It usually takes 1–3 business days for metro deliveries.
  • Regional areas may take 3–5 business days.

WA, TAS and NT orders are best sent Express Post otherwise it takes too long.

You may choose Express for other areas if you like, at Checkout.

Returns & refunds (made easy!)

Returns — We want happy customers, so if you’ve ordered the wrong thing or there’s a mixup, we will replace it free of charge, just get in touch.

Refunds — We accept returns within 90 days of purchase. A return postage fee of $9.90 applies, charged at our discretion (if the product is faulty or not as described, return postage is free and a full refund given).

Tracking & combined shipping

Tracking — Each package has an Australia Post tracking number emailed to you once the order is ‘processed’ (i.e. a shipping label has been printed). Within an hour or two the package will show as on route, and you may get an update from Australia Post. If you don’t receive a tracking number within 2 days, call or email us and we can check on it for you.

Combined Shipping — We will happily combine two or more orders into one package and refund the 2nd shipping fee if we can. Most packages under 5kg fit into one satchel.
