Pet Nano Hemp Extract: Faster, Stronger
Our Pet Nano Hemp uses advanced water-based nano-emulsion technology, creating extremely small hemp particles that disperse easily and absorb more efficiently than traditional oil-based formats.
This nano format is faster absorbing, more concentrated, and typically requires a smaller dosage than standard hemp oils.
Many pet owners choose Nano for situations where pets may feel unsettled, such as:
- storms
- fireworks
- visitors to the home
- car trips or travel
- vet visits
As with all hemp products, responses can vary from pet to pet, so it may take a little time to find the amount that works best.
I recommended Pet Nano Hemp to a client whose 6-year-old Shih Tzu had severe skin problems with red, inflamed skin and almost no hair.
She used 3 drops daily mixed with coconut oil on the skin. Within three weeks the inflammation settled, the skin returned to a normal colour and the hair started growing back.
The owner was in tears when she saw the improvement. It really seems to work well for skin issues.

Stronger – Concentrated Strength
Pet Nano Hemp is approximately 4x more concentrated than our regular Pet Hemp Oils, making it a stronger format for pets who need something beyond the standard oils.
Faster – Enhanced Absorption
Pet Nano Hemp uses advanced water-based nano-emulsion technology, where the hemp extract is broken into extremely small particles.
These particles disperse easily and absorb more quickly than traditional oil-based hemp extracts. Nano formulas are commonly reported to absorb within around 60 seconds, compared with around one hour for hemp oils.
Less Dosage – Water-Based Nano Format
Unlike traditional hemp oils which are carried in oil, Pet Nano Hemp is a water-based nano format.
The tiny nano particles are suspended in water using a food-grade emulsifier, allowing them to disperse evenly and absorb efficiently. Because of this, a smaller dosage is often sufficient compared with standard hemp oils.
Dosage Guide
Because this formula is concentrated and absorbs efficiently, it’s best to start with a small amount and increase gradually if needed.
Typical starting guide:
- Small to medium dogs, cats: start with 1–2 drops with food
- Larger dogs & pets (around 40 kg): start with 3–4 drops
If little change is noticed after 3 days, the amount can be increased gradually until you find the right level for your pet.
Every animal responds differently, so there is no single dose that works for all pets. Increasing slowly over time (often called “up-titrating”) helps find the most suitable amount. Too much can sometimes be counterproductive, so small adjustments are recommended.
USA Nano Technology, Made in Australia
After more than a year of testing with hundreds of customers, we released our first water-based nano product in 2022. Nano hemp extracts have been widely used in the United States, and we worked closely with suppliers there to develop a stable, food-grade formulation.
Pet Nano Hemp uses the same advanced nano-emulsion technology developed in the USA and is made here in Australia using locally sourced hemp.
Compared with regular hemp oils
- Nano formulas may reach up to ~90% bioavailability
- Traditional oil extracts typically absorb at around ~20% uptake
Because the particles are already dispersed in water, they are able to enter the system much more quickly than oil-based extracts.

Storage
Keep refrigerated, as water-based formulas do not keep as well as oils at room temperature.
Expiry date is 24 months from date of manufacture (check label on bottle) when kept in the fridge.
