Clove Bud 100% Essential Oil

Method of extraction – Water distilled from the dried flower buds of S. aromaticum

Characteristics – A strong, sweet and spicy aroma.

Common uses – Useful for relieving the symptoms of colds, flu, coughs and mild respiratory infections.
For dental problems, such as mouth ulcers and sore gums. A strong stimulating oil and highly antiseptic.
Always use diluted.

Why is Clove Bud Oil only available in 100ml+ sizes?

Clove Bud Oil (100%) is extremely strong and corrosive, which is why we don’t usually sell it retail. It’s intended for wholesale or professional use, where it’s typically diluted or blended with a base oil (like we do ourselves).

🌿 Which Clove Oil Should I Use for Mould?

We offer two options for mould treatment:

25% Clove Bud Oil in Jojoba

This is our recommended option for most people. It’s pre-diluted, safer to handle, and easier to use around the home. Ideal for mixing with water to clean small areas of mould.

⚠️ 100% Clove Bud Oil

This is extremely strong and corrosive. We normally only sell it to wholesale customers or professionals who know how to safely dilute it.
Still want the pure version? We can supply it in 100ml bottles or larger, for you to mix yourself.

We normally only sell it to wholesale customers or professionals.

If you still want the pure version, you can buy it here in 100ml bottles or larger—but always dilute before use.

🚫 Never apply undiluted clove oil directly to skin — it can cause burns and serious irritation.

Clove Oil for Mould – What the Experts Say

🟤 How to Use Clove Oil for Mould (ABC Article)

The most common home-use advice for clove oil and mould comes from cleaning expert Shannon Lush, as featured in ABC News. Her natural mould removal recipe is:

👉 ¼ teaspoon of clove oil per 1 litre of water
Spray it on the mouldy area, leave for 20min to 24 hours, then wipe it off.

This method is popular because it’s simple, natural, and effective for small mould problems on hard surfaces.

While not officially recommended, WA Health includes clove oil as a possible natural mould treatment. In their mould guidelines, they list clove and tea tree oil as natural biocides that may assist in cleaning mould from hard surfaces. Questions of our Essential Oils

Can I ingest / eat the essential oils?

Regarding our essential oils, they are all top quality and we can provide a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) on request (they are tested every batch, so the CoAs change regularly).

However no essential oils are considered food-grade by law in Australia, though these are as good quality as you can get.

Technically in Australia you’re not supposed to use any essential oils internally, as they are classed a poison by the TGA.

What you do with a product once it’s in your hands is up to you.

What is the difference between essential & fragrance oils?

Essential oils are derived from natural plant material through distillation or cold pressing, and are highly concentrated with the natural aromatic compounds of the plant.

They are known for their therapeutic properties and are commonly used in aromatherapy and other wellness applications.

Fragrance oils, on the other hand, are synthetic scents that mimic natural materials, and are used primarily for their scent in products like perfumes, candles, and other scented items.

While essential oils offer physical and emotional benefits, fragrance oils are solely for scent.

If you’re looking for natural, therapeutic benefits, choose essential oils.

If you simply want a pleasant aroma that is cheaper, fragrance oils are a good option, though we are discontinuing these…

It would be up to you if you did take it with you, and check if the country (or any you transit through) has any issues with hemp products.
