Organic & Biodynamic Hemp Oil

Our Organic & Biodynamic Hemp from our 2023 harvest, in a MCT Coconut Oil base.

The hemp in this product is certified Organic & Biodynamic by ‘Southern Cross Certified Australia’, grown by a good friend & Nimbin local.

Fractionated Coconut Oil (MCT) bonds well with hemp as an infusion and is known to be beneficial as a carrier oil.
MCT stays liquid on cold days, unlike virgin coconut oil which hardens at 24C.

Sizes
All my hemp oils come in two different sizes:

  • 25ml bottle – lasts approx. 3 weeks
  • 100ml bottle – lasts approx. 3 months

Storage
The hemp oils & balms can be stored at room temperature for a year, no refrigeration required.
For longer storage you may keep them in the fridge.

    I just had to share our story. Our whole family including my pugs have been taking the oil for years. We have all benefited & have recommended many friends & acquaintances.
    My review now is in relation to our elderly Pug – Hugo. Hugo is 18 years old. He has always been a fit healthy pug, however with his increasing age he is like us humans, he suffers with some mobility issues. I also have a 14 year old pug. Both take the oil. Anyway, I was away for a week. My husband was feeding the boys & he though we had run out of the oil, so hence Hugo was not getting his daily drops. I arrived home to him having a grand mal seizure where he was unconscious for 25 minutes. He was incontinent of both urine & faeces. I though that his age has finally caught him & we were going to loose him. Amazing he recovered. The next day he had another seizure. I was preparing for the worst & looking at having him euthinaised. I am not going to put him through any indignity at his age. That night I was feeding them & asked my husband where are their drops. He said we ran out. No, there are some in the cupboard. Well I instantly knew what the cause of his seizures were. Whilst we were not aware he was prone to seizures, at his age I do know it is common in pugs. I immediately re commenced his drops , doubling his dose .
    This was 3 weeks ago now & no more seizures. Woo Hoo. Thank you for your wonderful product.

    I have used your hemp seed oils for some time now for started with hemp & turmeric for aches and stiff joints,sleep issues, I have noticed that my blood pressure has decreased since using the oil.
    Last purchase I got organic hemp in coconut oil for the extra strength b/p still stable, sleep still an issue, but I do feel calm I use 1ml at night.

    I dont love the taste of this oil but it isn’t awful. It’s been amazing for my anxiety and insomnia however. I take 8 drops of an evening to help with sleep and another 8 in the morning to settle my anxiety. I now fall asleep easily and stay asleep all night. I’ve only had a few panic attacks which is a huge reduction from my usual 1 a day. This oil is life changing.

After running out of another brand, which had become too expensive & difficult to obtain, I was desperate to try BSFO’s product.     I bought the small bottle to start. I could feel the effects within 10 minutes of calming in my head. I have Tourette syndrome, seizures. And Severe Anxiety. To be honest. It was good for anxiety best. But I have all the other oils and they’re best for seizures.

    I’d like to say wow and 5 stars.
    This product may take a few weeks to build up the benefits naturally but it will tackle the problem with arthritic pain on a medical level a lot better than all those tablets in the past so if your looking for a alternative to to stay away from tablets please don’t hesitate to buy this one for your arthritic pains or general well being

Hemp Oils FAQs

Can I drive after using hemp products?

We do not know of any case where it has shown positive in a roadside drug test, including Mac who has been randomly drug tested several times and nothing has ever shown (and he takes a good dose every day!).

With our hemp products, the THC content is very low (under 0.3%), which is legal in Australia using our NSW DPI Low THC Hemp Licence.

But, because there’s still a tiny amount of THC in there, we can’t guarantee it wouldn’t ever show up for someone.

So if you’re a truck drive or courier for example, please consider they risk when using our hemp products.

Will it make me sleepy?

Most customers report that our hemp oils do not feel sedating, even when taken during the day.

Feedback from customers often includes:

  • a general sense of relaxation
  • feeling more settled in the evening
  • vivid dreams but waking refreshed
  • no grogginess the next morning

Many people choose our Calm & Rested blend as part of their evening routine.

Everyone responds differently, so it’s always best to try a small amount first when you have some downtime at home and see how your body responds.

Does it come with dosage / instructions?

Yes, we include a leaflet with instructions with every order, here is a sample:

It can take up to 1hr to start feeling the effects from our Hemp Oil range (and 1 minute for the Nano range), and will last between 6-8hrs. The effect is cumulative, some people will feel it right away whilst others may take up to 2 weeks to notice its effects.

All people react differently to dosing, there is no ‘one size fits all’, so it can take time to find the right amount. Too much can also be counterproductive, increase a bit at a time (up-titrating) to see the effect, then adjust again to find the optimum dose for you.

Will the hemp show up in a drug test?

No it should not, and we’ve never heard of anyone who has had a positive test restult.

We grow a legal, low-THC Hemp variety under a NSW DPI Hemp Licence, the hemp must be under 0.3% THC, and is tested before harvest.

Several people who work in the mines also use it and have not had any issues with their regular workplace tests.

Can I travel with / take the hemp products overseas?

That’s hard for us to say if it’s ok to use overseas, as we are not lawyers, though some people do travel with their hemp products, and we do send them overseas to NZ, USA, UK too.

It would be up to you if you did take it with you, and check if the country (or any you transit through) has any issues with hemp products.

Shipping, Tracking, Returns

Shipping & postage

Orders before midday (2pm) are sent the same day via Australia Post or Aramex.

We deliver to all Australian addresses, PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers etc.

Delivery time:

  • It usually takes 1–3 business days for metro deliveries.
  • Regional areas may take 3–5 business days.

WA, TAS and NT orders are best sent Express Post otherwise it takes too long.

You may choose Express for other areas if you like, at Checkout.

Returns & refunds (made easy!)

Returns — We want happy customers, so if you’ve ordered the wrong thing or there’s a mixup, we will replace it free of charge, just get in touch.

Refunds — We accept returns within 90 days of purchase. A return postage fee of $9.90 applies, charged at our discretion (if the product is faulty or not as described, return postage is free and a full refund given).

Tracking & combined shipping

Tracking — Each package has an Australia Post tracking number emailed to you once the order is ‘processed’ (i.e. a shipping label has been printed). Within an hour or two the package will show as on route, and you may get an update from Australia Post. If you don’t receive a tracking number within 2 days, call or email us and we can check on it for you.

Combined Shipping — We will happily combine two or more orders into one package and refund the 2nd shipping fee if we can. Most packages under 5kg fit into one satchel.
