Storage
The hemp oils & creams can be stored at room temperature for a year at least, no refrigeration required.

    Bought for pain after 2 shoulder operations, didn’t notice any difference, BUT!
    I HAVE TYPE 2 DIABETES
    And after taking this product for a few months, the level of triglycerides dropped dramatically, and as a result of this, I no longer have to check my sugar levels twice a day, and instead of 3 monthly blood test, I now need test every 6 months.
    So very impressed.
    And for those worried about drug tests, just had a random drug and alcohol test at work, and results were negative!!!
    So will be buying more when run out.

    The Hemp infused in Olive Oil has provided great relief for the symptoms of severe stenosis in my lower back and bursitis in my hip – in fact the hip pain completely disappeared. I also bought the Hemp Arnica and Comfrey Cream which I keep for my foot ( Lysfranc Arthritis ) and it reduces the pain after I spend extra time walking. For my next order, I am going to try the Hemp and Lemon Myrtle Cream to compare the difference in efficacy between both creams .
    ( I also gave my son some of the oil to try for his hay fever and it cleared it up straight away. )

    I bought the Hemp oil infused in olive oil- no Turmeric , i have a lot of problems with my back and in a lot of pain, since I’ve been taking the Hemp oil i have not been in all that pain, i could not believe it the more i take it the better my body feels.     Hi Mac I have given it a four because my elderly arthritic dog for whom I purchased the oil seems to love it and seems more alert. She is on her third week now and at the moment I have not seen any improvement in her arthritic back legs. However early days she is 13 years old so May Take Longer but I shall persevere and fingers crossed it works for her. So many people have had great results not just for themselves but for their animals.
    I’m hoping that this will have a great result in time. Do keep making this wonderful product.

    Awesome product & great company. I’ve been researching CBD oil for a while and this product ticked all the boxes. Great product to enhance the homeostasis of your body/mind.     What a fantastic product, recommended by a friend! I feel more calm and my quality of sleep has improved incredibly. More amazingly, my partner has traditionally been a terrible sleeper, taking a long time to fall asleep and waking through the night.     My much loved 18yr old cat has severe arthritis ln his hips, has hyperthyroidism & suffers from seizures, besides his hyperthyroidism medication he had been on anti inflammatory medication which can damage his kidneys. He has 3 drops of hemp oil twice a day & 4 drops at night. He no longer has the anti inflammatory meds, he’s moving easier, seizures reduced and he is a much happier puss. His fur has also become soft & smooth. I add the oil to his food as he is one very fussy puss. Thank you Mac and team, my vet is amazed at the improved condition of my beautiful old cat.

    I found Black Sheep on Face Book and thought I would give them a try. I was amazed at how well it works for me with Anxiety and general well being.

    Great service, fast shipping, good communication after sale. Have been using the oil for about 3 weeks – while I did notice improvement at the start with my chronic insomnia and anxiety, have recently noticed in times of excessive stress it doesn’t seem to do much regardless of how much I take – think I might need a stronger product, but would definitely recommend this as an entry level product if you’re considering trying CBD for the first time. Can’t beat the prices!!

    Life changing !

    My elderly mother has severe osteoarthritis amongst other pain related health problems, she also has a very sensitive stomach to all the medications the doctors have been giving her – even the pain patches caused problems for her. So I thought she could try the Hemp oil infused with olive oil (can’t get any more natural on the stomach).
    It worked like a wonder, even after the first dose. She went from being not able to get around & being in agony, to being up around pottering in the house & yard almost pain free, without the upset stomach as well.
    I also bought her the Hemp, Comfrey & Arnica Cream which she rubs into her arthritic feet, which she swears is magic, she can actually stand & walk relatively pain free for the first time in very long time.

    Initially bought for human use, but have been giving it to our elderly dog who has just been diagnosed with lymphatic lymphoma. She appears to not be in pain or major discomfort, and the vet was OK with her being given the oil. Before the oil, our hound would pant alot (assuming due to pain) and wasn’t interested in much of anything, but after the oil, there’s no panting, she’s VERY keen on food and tolerates the new puppy alot better. This result after ONE dose (given a week ago, and is on 3 doses/day). She spends most of her day sleeping peacefully on the loungeroom floor. We are pleased that we can make her final days comfortable. Thank you.

    I have given this product a 4-star rating as I have believed in hemp for 50 years and have been waiting for people to realise what a God-given plant this is.I eat hemp products every day. I bought this product to try to help the severe pain in my left knee which I have had for a few months. Unfortunately, the pain which was at a very high level did not decrease at all after taking it for two weeks and if anything got worse. This is so disappointing to me because I know this product can be beneficial to so many things. The pain has gotten a little better since coming off it and I am now going to an orthopaedic Dr for an opinion.

Hemp Oils FAQs

Can I drive after using hemp products?

We do not know of any case where it has shown positive in a roadside drug test, including Mac who has been randomly drug tested several times and nothing has ever shown (and he takes a good dose every day!).

With our hemp products, the THC content is very low (under 0.3%), which is legal in Australia using our NSW DPI Low THC Hemp Licence.

But, because there’s still a tiny amount of THC in there, we can’t guarantee it wouldn’t ever show up for someone.

So if you’re a truck drive or courier for example, please consider they risk when using our hemp products.

Will it make me sleepy?

Most customers report that our hemp oils do not feel sedating, even when taken during the day.

Feedback from customers often includes:

  • a general sense of relaxation
  • feeling more settled in the evening
  • vivid dreams but waking refreshed
  • no grogginess the next morning

Many people choose our Calm & Rested blend as part of their evening routine.

Everyone responds differently, so it’s always best to try a small amount first when you have some downtime at home and see how your body responds.

Does it come with dosage / instructions?

Yes, we include a leaflet with instructions with every order, here is a sample:

It can take up to 1hr to start feeling the effects from our Hemp Oil range (and 1 minute for the Nano range), and will last between 6-8hrs. The effect is cumulative, some people will feel it right away whilst others may take up to 2 weeks to notice its effects.

All people react differently to dosing, there is no ‘one size fits all’, so it can take time to find the right amount. Too much can also be counterproductive, increase a bit at a time (up-titrating) to see the effect, then adjust again to find the optimum dose for you.

Will the hemp show up in a drug test?

No it should not, and we’ve never heard of anyone who has had a positive test restult.

We grow a legal, low-THC Hemp variety under a NSW DPI Hemp Licence, the hemp must be under 0.3% THC, and is tested before harvest.

Can I travel with / take the hemp products overseas?

That’s hard for us to say if it’s ok to use overseas, as we are not lawyers, though some people do travel with their hemp products, and we do send them overseas to NZ, USA, UK too.

It would be up to you if you did take it with you, and check if the country (or any you transit through) has any issues with hemp products.

Shipping & postage

Orders before midday (2pm) are sent the same day via Australia Post or Aramex.

We deliver to all Australian addresses, PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers etc.

Delivery time:

  • It usually takes 1–3 business days for metro deliveries.
  • Regional areas may take 3–5 business days.

WA, TAS and NT orders are best sent Express Post otherwise it takes too long.

You may choose Express for other areas if you like, at Checkout.

Returns & refunds (made easy!)

Returns — We want happy customers, so if you’ve ordered the wrong thing or there’s a mixup, we will replace it free of charge, just get in touch.

Refunds — We accept returns within 90 days of purchase. A return postage fee of $9.90 applies, charged at our discretion (if the product is faulty or not as described, return postage is free and a full refund given).

Tracking & combined shipping

Tracking — Each package has an Australia Post tracking number emailed to you once the order is ‘processed’ (i.e. a shipping label has been printed). Within an hour or two the package will show as on route, and you may get an update from Australia Post. If you don’t receive a tracking number within 2 days, call or email us and we can check on it for you.

Combined Shipping — We will happily combine two or more orders into one package and refund the 2nd shipping fee if we can. Most packages under 5kg fit into one satchel.
