Hemp Oil in MCT

Fractionated Coconut Oil (MCT) bonds well with hemp as an infusion and is known to be beneficial as a carrier oil. MCT stays liquid on cold days, unlike normal coconut oil which hardens at 24C.

2026 Hemp Oil – First Release

Every year we send our new hemp crop off to an independent lab for testing.

This year we’re trialing four strains: AC/DC, Mt Mango, Cherry Blossom and Cherry Wine. We’ve already got results back on Cherry Wine and AC/DC, as strong as last year, and our hemp has been trending stronger every season.

These are now sold out, though you can still get our regular Hemp in Coconut Oil above.

  • MCT Coconut Oil (organic, cold pressed)
  • Hemp (organic, locally grown)
  • Salt

No turmeric in this oil.

Sizes

Hemp oils come in various sized bottles:

  • 25ml bottle – lasts approx. 3 weeks
  • 100ml bottle – lasts approx. 3 months
  • 1 Litre for those wishing to buy in bulk
  • 5 Litre (wholesale only)

Storage

The hemp oils & creams can be stored at room temperature for a year at least, no refrigeration required. For longer storage you may keep them in the fridge.

    I was buying hemp oil from a different business and was finding the cost starting to just get too expensive. I was paying $198 for a 50ml bottle and stumbled across Black Sheep Oils in my search for another supplier that wasn’t going to bust my bank account, but still have a good product. I am a hairdresser of 20 yrs and as like many of my fellow hairdressers, I suffer from sore feet, sore back, sore hands and sore knees. Since taking this oil along with the hemp, arnica and comfrey cream, I have noticed a big difference in my pains and aches. I love it!! I leant my cream to my mum and had to steal it back from her as she loved it for her hands and arthritic feet too. I have also been sharing my hemp oil with my aged dogs and now have 3 ‘pups’ running around like crazies. I cannot express how good this product makes me feel and it obviously makes my dogs feel good as well. I have just put in another order to give mum her own cream so she can stop stealing mine and a hemp oil for the dogs, so I can stop sharing mine with them.     Amazing product. By far the best full spectrum oil I’ve tried. I’ve been using CBD for a few years now, so I’ve tried quite a lot of brands from the US. Mac’s oil is just as effective as the oil from the US, which sometimes costs 5 times as much. Such a relief to find an affordable full spectrum oil.     Hey Mac & team, great product! I was up to taking pharmaceutical pain relief several times a day, for a chronic lower back pain, and since starting the oil I have not taken any pain meds for my back. I’ve noticed that other inflammation pain has subsided as well, my shoulders are more relaxed. My lower back still plays up, has twinges, spasms when I move in certain ways, however the recovery time is much shorter now, and it’s not as uncomfortable to sleep. Other things I’ve noticed include improved skin, less itchy and dry, less jaw clenching (something I had noticed myself doing more in the past year or so) and just more relaxed in myself. I like that my body is gradually recalibrating itself (I’m also in the hormone rebalancing phase of life, and I think it’s having a balancing effect on that too).

    Hi all,
    I am very happy to say that since using this product I have welcomed the relief that it has given me. I have been using a similar product acquired from overseas but this is much better and not so expensive. I have osteo arthritis throughout my body and have had spinal surgery and two hip replacements. The latter left me with nerve pain in both legs and foot.     Fantastic product, definitely performs as advertised however I feel the PH levels were off possibly due to whatever method was used in extraction as the oil leaves a burning sensation in the throat. It really helps with sleep and my nerve pain though so I hope it is simply an issue with this batch as the extract in olive oil I used in the past did not have this issue. I have recommended this to others who will find it beneficial.

    I suffer from chondromalacia patella, arthritis and meniscus degeneration and the list goes on(waiting for knee replacements). I have taken a lot of opioid medication over the years, have started to reduce my dosage already, it’s only been about 2 weeks.

    Hi all, I have been using the drops on my Autistic nearly 14 year old son. He’s now off anti-psychotic medication which made him put in 30kg. Hemp Oils FAQs

Can I drive after using hemp products?

We do not know of any case where it has shown positive in a roadside drug test, including Mac who has been randomly drug tested several times and nothing has ever shown (and he takes a good dose every day!).

With our hemp products, the THC content is very low (under 0.3%), which is legal in Australia using our NSW DPI Low THC Hemp Licence.

But, because there’s still a tiny amount of THC in there, we can’t guarantee it wouldn’t ever show up for someone.

So if you’re a truck drive or courier for example, please consider they risk when using our hemp products.

Will it make me sleepy?

Most customers report that our hemp oils do not feel sedating, even when taken during the day.

Feedback from customers often includes:

  • a general sense of relaxation
  • feeling more settled in the evening
  • vivid dreams but waking refreshed
  • no grogginess the next morning

Many people choose our Calm & Rested blend as part of their evening routine.

Everyone responds differently, so it’s always best to try a small amount first when you have some downtime at home and see how your body responds.

Does it come with dosage / instructions?

Yes, we include a leaflet with instructions with every order, here is a sample:

It can take up to 1hr to start feeling the effects from our Hemp Oil range (and 1 minute for the Nano range), and will last between 6-8hrs. The effect is cumulative, some people will feel it right away whilst others may take up to 2 weeks to notice its effects.

All people react differently to dosing, there is no ‘one size fits all’, so it can take time to find the right amount. Too much can also be counterproductive, increase a bit at a time (up-titrating) to see the effect, then adjust again to find the optimum dose for you.

Will the hemp show up in a drug test?

No it should not, and we’ve never heard of anyone who has had a positive test restult.

We grow a legal, low-THC Hemp variety under a NSW DPI Hemp Licence, the hemp must be under 0.3% THC, and is tested before harvest.

Can I travel with / take the hemp products overseas?

That’s hard for us to say if it’s ok to use overseas, as we are not lawyers, though some people do travel with their hemp products, and we do send them overseas to NZ, USA, UK too.

It would be up to you if you did take it with you, and check if the country (or any you transit through) has any issues with hemp products.

Shipping & postage

Orders before midday (2pm) are sent the same day via Australia Post or Aramex.

We deliver to all Australian addresses, PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers etc.

Delivery time:

  • It usually takes 1–3 business days for metro deliveries.
  • Regional areas may take 3–5 business days.

WA, TAS and NT orders are best sent Express Post otherwise it takes too long.

You may choose Express for other areas if you like, at Checkout.

Returns & refunds (made easy!)

Returns — We want happy customers, so if you’ve ordered the wrong thing or there’s a mixup, we will replace it free of charge, just get in touch.

Refunds — We accept returns within 90 days of purchase. A return postage fee of $9.90 applies, charged at our discretion (if the product is faulty or not as described, return postage is free and a full refund given).

Tracking & combined shipping

Tracking — Each package has an Australia Post tracking number emailed to you once the order is ‘processed’ (i.e. a shipping label has been printed). Within an hour or two the package will show as on route, and you may get an update from Australia Post. If you don’t receive a tracking number within 2 days, call or email us and we can check on it for you.

Combined Shipping — We will happily combine two or more orders into one package and refund the 2nd shipping fee if we can. Most packages under 5kg fit into one satchel.
